Steam cleaning: Black mould removal
The #Thinkcleanworx team were called out to a children’s care home for a deep clean of a bathroom which had major black mould issues. As a children’s home the bathroom had of course been regularly cleaned but like anything over time dirt and grime had built up.

The bathroom was looking tired and needed a comprehensive deep cleaning along with black mould removal. The goal being to create a safe and hygienic environment for the young residents, ensuring their well-being and promoting a healthy living space.
Project Solution:
The #thinkcleanworx team used a steam cleaner to deliver the deep clean and sanitize the space in one sweep without the need for potentially harmful and aggressive products, we’re always trying to take the environmentally friendly approach whenever possible. Steam cleaning is effective at removing built up dirt and grime and the high temperatures used also kill off unwanted bacteria. Steam cleaning was chosen as it can effectively clean all surfaces including tiles, grout and shower enclosures it also penetrates deeper than scrubbing alone.
Project Results:
The black mould was effectively removed, the deep clean restored the appearance of the bathroom, the built up dirt and grime disappeared and deep stains were also removed. The team left the client with a clean and sanitised space that’s safe and clean for the children to use.
